If you eat KFC original chicken it will taste better than Popeyes, in my humble opinion.

2 Orchard Turn, #B4-06A ION Orchard, Singapore
Chicken is outstanding, exactly like we had at Popeyes in Florida. The biscuits aren’t quite like those we got in Florida, but still OK

That’s interesting. I would never have guessed it, because the marketing efforts appear to consolidate both groups of outlets.

Don’t fret :) Perhaps Popeyes will re-enter Philippines. Many restaurant chains have left a country only to return some years later. We had that with Chili’s Grill & Bar, Wendy’s and T.G.I. Friday’s who left Singapore in the 1980s, and reopened here in the past few years :)

The last time I ate there was when we went to SG for vacation and we visited the Singapore Flyer. Luckily, we see that in HKIA when we go to HK for vacation. Too bad their franchise in Manila closed down. :(

Oh Leon, I have heard so much about Texas Chicken lately. After your recommendation, it is now on my “list”! Just wondering, have you tried Arnold’s Fried Chicken?

I find that their chicken taste better than Popeyes. The staff there are friendlier too. Popeyes chicken has too much oil soaked in their skin… No doubt it’s crispy, but it’s like drinking oil. Hope you try Texas chicken soon! =D

Should expand more! But it would take some time. I would love to see Popeye outlet at probably Jurong Point, Vivo or Tiong Bahru Plaza.

But Popeye’s chicken definitely beat KFC Singapore’s hot and spicy version hand’s down.

I thought Popeyes fried chicken was unbeatable until I tried Arnold’s.
