Out of curiosity, are the non-speaking residents of Asian ethnicity or some other?

I am living in U.S. now and can tell that too many residents here can not speak English.
So forget the trivial things & any weird ideas!

Enjoy life !

There are more pictures of adorable-looking food! The Japanese love making everything look kawaii. It’s truly a country of all things beautiful :)

One of the reasons i’ve been wanting to go to Japan ever since i was in grade 6 was partly because of their wide range and variety of food.Everytime i end up looking at food from Japan that’s posted on the net,i always dream about going there one day,but also very much for their culture,as goes for many other countries in the whole of Asia.I think i’ll try and visit Singapore too one day! :) There seems to be something about Japan that truly attracts me to it somehow, their creativity in certain domains, shall i say? They incorporate many of their ideas into things that people wouldn’t usually think of,like the example of the Flight Safety Video you gave in your post.Small things can make a whole lot of difference sometimes, especially when it comes to capting the audience’s or people’s attention. For those white bean pastries in the shape of chickens,i first saw them in the manga Love Hina(by Ken Akamatsu) and straight away fell in love with them! There was one thing that hit me though…How could you eat something so adorable?? o_o The fact that they all look absolutely scrumptious couteracts the fact that they’re too adorable to eat.I usually tend to always take pictures of nicely presented food before proceeding to the eating process =)

Haha, wow,i feel like i’ve almost written an entry instead of a comment!XD Your stories and descriptions are just so interesting and fascinating that it draws me to type in a lot.But no worries,i enjoy every bit of the commenting on your wonderful entries!I’m looking forward to your recent postings!~

I think the lack of awareness about Singapore is not limited to America alone, but many western countries too. The people there seemed surprised each time I spoke English, because they never thought that people in Singapore could!

I just wanted to say good job with the site!
I’m a Singaporean studying in the US and I totally agree with you! Americans are much friendlier, but they barely know anything about Singapore and our culture!

I only had a similar experience on Singapore Airlines where they had the option of chicken omelettes with bread and butter spread, and dessert.

It wasn’t really enough for me, but I didn’t ask for an addition serving since I was too shy to have two trays on my stowaway…

SIA is world-class of course, but somewhat not affordable when you’re travelling alone.
